YC series heavy-duty shingle-phase motors are suitable for powering small type machine tools, water pumps, etc., specially for family workshops where only single-phase eurrent supply is available. The designations, signs, and nominal values are all in conformity with I.E.C. standards.
ˇˇˇˇYC series motors are of IP44 totally enclosed fan-cooling type. The motors of rated output 3HP or below adopt capacitor starting. Under rated voltage and 50Hz, the starting torque is three times more than the rated torque and 60Hz the starting torque is more than 2.75 times. Motors of 4HP or over adopt capacitor start and run type. They all have the advantages of high starting torque, smooth running, low noise and greater overload performance.
The rated frequency of the motors is 50ˇ«60Hz; the basic rated voltages is 200ˇ«220v, it can also be provided with 500v. |
